Interesting Quote from the MW Prince Hall Grand Lodge of Pennsylvania
(Source: “The Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge, Free and Accepted Masons of Pennsylvania, Organized 1815″ Author: MW Prince Hall Grand Lodge of Pennsylvania 1993 page 93 Chapter 4 entitled ” The National Grand Lodge”)
“On December 28, 1815 the First African Grand Lodge of North America at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania was established. In 1818 there was friction within this body, and a group broke away which in July 1837 constituted themselves into the Hiram Grand Lodge. Naturally relations were never very cordial between the First African Grand Lodge of North America and the Hiram Grand Lodge of pennysylvania. After the formation of the National Grand Lodge in Boston on June 24, 1847 a union between the first African Grand Lodge and the Hiram Grand Lodge was consummated in New York City on February 10, 1848 and thus became into existence the Grand Lodge of Pennsylvania (colored) F. A. A. Y. M. Unfortunately, peace and harmony did not rule for long. On June 24, 1850 the National Grand Lodge issued a new Warrant to the Grand Lodge of Pennsylvania, F & A, A. Y. M. to replace the one dated June 24, 1847. The obstreperous suspended Grand Master, Jacob Jenkins, refused to surrender the old Warrant. However, Jenkins, and his followers then resuscitated the old Hiram Grand Lodge of Pennsylvania which is today represented by the Prince Hall Grand Lodge of Pennsylvania. The First African Grand Lodge of North America is represented by the Pennsylvania Grand Lodge F. &. A. A. Y. M. which continues to work under the Grand Warrant issued by the National Grand Lodge on June 24, 1850.”
This above Quote from the MOST WORSHIPFUL PRINCE HALL GRAND LODGE nullifies the bottomless rhetoric spewed by so-called PHA Masonic scholars. I anticipate them to try to explain this away. We shall sit patiently and wait.
